The dynamic mic splitter allows you to send audio to 2 sources without impedance loading and compromising the audio signal.
The DMS is designed with dynamic microphones in mind, featuring an OEP transformer-balanced output (XLR/TRS) with ground lift, REAN connectors and die cast Hammond enclosure.
A common use case is to be able to send a mic signal "dry" along side a "wet" signal which has gone through an FX chain, or other processing. This is useful both live and in the studio.
The DMS can be fitted with a phase reverse if required - please email to discuss your needs.
Input: XLR
Thru: XLR
Output: XLR, TRS 1/4" jack socket
TRS jack output defeats XLR output; if TRS is used with either TRS or TS cable, the XLR output will send no signal.
Common example of wiring:
INPUT (microphone in) - THRU (to desk) - OUTPUT (to effects chain)
